Dewayne E. Harley

Dewayne, a military veteran, has been licensed to practice law in Virginia since 2009. With 19 years of experience working in government, Dewayne has a wealth of experience in electronic surveillance, employment discrimination law, workplace investigations, mediations, and public sector civil rights law including Section 1203(b) complaints filed under the IRS Restructuring and Reform Act of 1998, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.

 

Dewayne is also highly experienced in equal employment opportunity laws including, but not limited to, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Dewayne's experience includes providing training to managers, employees, and the public on their roles, rights, and responsibilities regarding civil rights and civil liberties laws and executive orders. Dewayne's experiences include drafting final agency decisions for EEO investigations and public civil liberties investigations making the determination on the outcome of such investigations. 

 

In his free time, Dewayne enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.
